Currently starting to get into Mega Man games. I havent played X3 yet, but having played a bit of both X1 and X2, and *a lot* of X4 (don't ask why I played it before this one, I'm not sure myself) my main question is: HOW DID YOU DO THAT

I never realized that the zero knuckle can drag out tech kraken or slam mandrake out of their bs burrow, not much info on zero 4 tutorials but that was cool.

After watching this I might as well Craft my own Mega Man X3 run were I replay the game & go via the 1 & only Least Backtracking Route & 100% items because I missed the Z-Saber the first time I played that game.

I personally think that canonically, this is how Zero fought. Quick, agressive and no mercy. Finish them fast without wasting any time.

I own Megaman's 1 through 4 on the NES. I just bought the PS2 version for a measly five Canadian dollars and mostly for Megaman 7, which costs nearly a fortune for the SNES, and Megaman 8. Worth it.

In the Zero series you can also defeat a boss with four combos. You just have to use the saber charge attack (it's better with the boss's elemental weakness) then hit him again with the normal three slash combo. The first hit of the three slash combo won't do damage because you already attacked with the charge attack. But the last two slashes will do damage. This combo takes out half of the boss's health bar. So since bosses have two health bars, it'll take four combos. But if the boss has three health bars, it'll take 6 combos. I hope this helped any of you who read this.

I do not like the weakness system. Conceptually it is cool, give a reason and incentive to actually play a longer boss fight and actually seeing the attacks instead of murdering everything in 5 seconds like every mega man game. But in actuality it just feels like "Haha you shot .5 seconds too late which gave the boss enough time to change animation that makes you hit the weakpoint(80% of his hitbox), have fun restarting for the 27th time." I know it's optional and all, but it is still annoying. The other bosses are fair enough but both the fire guys and the moneky are just stupid, it doesn't feel like a special weakpoint when you have put so much effort to not hit it.
